Toyota Etios Liva hatchbak to debut in India on June 27

The count down have started for the launch of Toyota Etios Liva Hatch in India. The official date announced for the launch is 27th July this year. Etios Liva Hatchback is the first offering from Toyota in competitive Indian market,The launch of this car might turn the table around for Toyota as Maruti have delayed the launch of its new 2011 Swift and Honda plans to launch during the fest season. If the looks of the car is taken into account then it is similar to Toyota Etios sedan subtracting the boot from it.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor made the announcement recently regarding the entry its entry into the premium hatchback segment with Toyota Etios Liva. Till date more then 20,000 cars are been delivered across the market by Toyota. The production of the car has been increased so as to decrease the delivery time less then a 1 month. More details will be given on the launch. The Toyota Etios Liva Price is expected to be around Rs. 3.5 – 4 lakh,the only drawback is the interior of the car which the xerox of Toyota Etios Sedan and fails to give a look of a premium hatch. Earlier its launch was deferred from April to June. This decision has been taken so as to reduce the long waiting period from terrific reaction received for Toyota Etios.
To be part of the marketing campaign, show stopper is the TV ad campaign, which will feature music composed by A R Rahman. It is the first time that Toyota Motors has announced a low ranged model. Honda,the Japanese auto major,have picked up the velocity to launch its diesel version in the India market. With the continues hike in the petrol prices, diesel cars are gaining lot of fame in Indian market. The price difference among few cities in the diesel and petrol prices is falling to Rs 18-19/liter.
