Honda,the Japanese auto major,have picked up the velocity to launch its diesel version in the India market. With the continues hike in the petrol prices, diesel cars are gaining lot of fame in Indian market. The price difference among few cities in the diesel and petrol prices is falling to Rs 18-19/liter. If the current speculation regarding the price strategies of the Honda Motors is dissected it would be easy to say that the company aims to earn on its brand value to the fullest.
Moreover the company will take full advantage of its Goodwill in the country.

If the light is thrown on the two current models from the company, Honda City and Honda Jazz, the cars are overrated as compared to those features which are available in other company’s model but for sure the price tag is figured with the reliability that Honda provides to its users. But on considering the offerings from rivals than a good deal can be seen in true value of money. The Diesel variant,will offer 2.2 Lit i-Dtec exhale 148 horsepower with torque of 258 lb-ft.

Honda Accord is expected to enter the Indian mainland soon, as the taste of people switching to diesel and at present Accord vie Skoda Superb and VW Passat which are already offering diesel engine options.
