Bajaj unveiled RE60 ULC just before Auto Expo

Bajaj India made its first entry in the Indian car market and has just unveiled its all new RE60 just before the Indian Auto Expo at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Car offers a high mileage of 35 Kmpl and company tagged Bajaj RE60 at a very low price which could be the key selling points for the car. RE60 will soon going to hit Indian roads and will compete against the likes of Tata Magic Iris. It is also expected that this car could be a better alternative option to an auto rickshaw's we see today. Car comes with a lower CO2 emission of 60 g/Km to ensure the conformity of BS IV emission norms in India.

Bajaj India especially targets the city people who wants to travel with auto rickshaw's and specially built for inter-city transits. This small four wheeler attains a top speed of 70 kilometers per hour which is a lot better than the auto rickshaw. The firm unveils RE60 in two layouts that are 2+2 and 2+1 which shows that it can accommodate three to four passengers with so much comfort. This compact vehicle suits Indian roads as it can easily traverse across the busy Indian streets with absolute grace with its overall length of just 2.75 m and just 1.3 wide body.

Bajaj Auto India uses metal polymer monocoque construction design to built this lightweight vehicle and this help the company to conform with Nissan's standards with a water cooled four valve, DTSi engine to offer a good output. The undisputed King of three wheelers in the country, Bajaj Auto is attempting to regain its assurance where the ULC vehicle is becoming involved to take its partnership with the joint venture of Nissan and Renault to next level. With Bajaj RE60, company churns out all its experience in the Auto rickshaw manufacturing which one can easily seen from the RE60 ULC vehicle. Though RE60 is a four wheeler, still it continuous to carry the image of auto-rickshaw.
